David and Victoria Beckham build ‘£60k underwear room’ at new Cotswolds mansion

           The couple have just bought up a Grade II-listed farmhouse, comprising of nine bedrooms and three separate wings, and are said to be converting the property into a luxury retreat. And with such a lavish property comes lavish perks. Why stop with one walk in wardrobe when you can have many? Even one for just your pants.

    Then, to the right of the room, is the underwear and nightwear chamber. Victoria signed-off the £60 K budget to get it designed to perfection. It comes with all mod cons including his-and-hers pyjamas embroidered with their initials and hundreds of pairs of their favourite underwear and nightwear brands.

‘The kids have already been told it’s a ‘no-go zone’ and there’s even a security keypad at the door,’ the source continued, implying that Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12 and six-year-old Harper are banned from entering mum and dad’s special pants room.

        The couple – who were rumoured to have been searching for a property in the countryside – will also seek to install state-of-the-art security systems throughout the property, which is estimated to bring the total property budget to well above £1.8 mil ($2.4 mil).

The newspaper also claims that the couple have submitted planning applications for an orchard, croquet lawn and natural swimming pond to be added to the grounds, which already sports a triple garage, two large courtyards with a water feature and an existing apple orchard across two-acres of land.

            A source told The Daily Star Sunday: ‘The room everyone’s talking about at the new pad is the walk-in underwear room. Victoria has a designer wardrobe to the left of the bedroom for her clothes, another for her shoes and another for her bags.
