While all of the Department of Education public schools are open, all field trips requiring yellow school buses will be cancelled. All other programs and activities will be held as scheduled, according to the official NYC Public Schools Twitter feed.
Wagner College offices and nonessential operations are closed on Friday, while the school is on its academic winter break. Essential personnel, such as Public Safety staff, will be expected to report for duty.

Staten Island Academy, and Notre Dame Academy both announced closures for Friday due to dangerous road conditions. Moore Catholic High School announced its homeroom would begin at 10:05 a.m
